I'm Morgan- wife, mother, memory-hoarder.
I'm a twenty-five year old photographer of those who live and love. Those of us that want to slow down, remember it all as it is- how it feels.
Photography has always been a part of me, a part I didn’t even really know existed until I was gifted my first camera. I love everything about it. Capturing peoples greatest moments and biggest accomplishments, even the quiet days at home. Telling love stories. Freezing time and giving you something to keep forever. All of it.
I have always been a feeler. Since becoming a mom, I came across the term 'anticipatory nostalgia'- the feeling of missing the present because you know it will soon be the past. Something I have felt for most of my adult life but feels even more intense now. Knowing how fast it all truly goes, how quickly they change / how much they need us / and one day won't / the mess / the snacks / the bath time routine / the one more book before bed / these are the days.
The days that I will want to return to when I am old. That I could spend my entire life living. It all goes so fast.
Photographing moments and interactions between people is what fuels me. How special is it that you have a moment you want to remember so badly, that you invite me in to share it with you, a privilege I don't take lightly. To document it in a way that allows you to relive exactly how you felt in that moment, forever. My goal is to capture things exactly as they are; a fly on the wall to your beautiful life.
